If you've always dreamed of building your own airplane, or simply want to learn more about all-metal aircraft construction, Quality Sport Planes can provide you with the opportunity to learn about building a Zenith kit while you actually start building your own airplane. Small group sizes make our workshops very productive and educational; you are welcome to bring one helper (spouse, son, daughter, parent...) to even further enhance the experience.
Come prepared and experience first-hand how you can build your own kit airplane!
You don't need any experience, skills or tools to attend! Find out more from this video!

This workshop is based on the very popular similar program offered at the Zenith aircraft factory. The purpose of this workshop is for participants to confirm for themselves that this is indeed the type of project they are looking for (assembling a kit aircraft). It's a very easy and effective way to start your own plane project: You'll have your first completed component by the end of the workshop (the rudder); if you did not enjoy the experience, there is no further commitment whatsoever to continue. We offer these workshops throughout the year. Call or e-mail for dates, reservation details and/or for a registration form.

Special one-day rudder workshops
One-day workshops are designed for busy people who cannot attend one of our regular two-day events. You'll be working under the guidance of QSP's builder-assistance providers throughout the project; this one-on-one assistance will ensure quick results and top-notch quality. The only down-side of this program is that you'll miss-out on meeting other builders who share your interests; these peers often have different questions and experiences that can enrich your own experience. The biggest advantage of the one-day workshop is that it can be scheduled to meet your personal calendar.
Engine Installation workshops
We periodically schedule engine installation workshops. We have in the past offered workshops for the Viking Engines, Rotax 912, the Jabiru 3300 and the Corvair engines. If interested, please call and have your name added to our lists; workshops are scheduled once enough people have expressed an interest.
