Good-bye Lori...
It is with profound sadness that we announce Lori Dugger's passing this week (June 4, 2014).
Many in the local homebuilding community got to know Lori well over the past 20+ years as she and her husband Doug actively supported many aspects of sport aviation in Northern California, be it as active members of EAA Chapter 124 in Santa Rosa, as airport managers at Rancho Tahama, or as owners/operators of Quality Sport Planes in Cloverdale.
As the office manager of Quality Sports Planes, many Zenith builders had an opportunity to meet and interact with Lori and to appreciate her easy smile, bubbling personality and ever-helpful approach to life and people. As a Zenith Aircraft representative, many more met her at the Zenith/QSP displays at the Golden West, Arlington and Copperstate Fly-ins; over the past ten years, she also accompanied Doug with their CH 601XL, then their CH 701, and more recently with their CH 750 to countless local fly-ins and EAA events throughout the Western States.
The Annual QSP Open Houses which have regularly attracted many west coast Zenith aircraft over the last few years were largely Lori's doing and many aircraft seen there were fitted with one of her self-made upholstery packages or canopy covers!
You will be missed, Lori...
Sincere and heartfelt condolences Doug, and to your families.

I wish to thank all of our builders and customers for their many thoughtful cards and condolences; they were greatly appreciated. I hope to see many of you at the Arlington airshow in July; I will also be off to OSHKOSH and the 7-day build and hope to see many of you there. Doug.
